Chris is all about good vibes, great drinks, and unforgettable moments. Originally from Massachusetts, he moved to South Florida in 2001 to attend the University of Miami and he’s called it home ever since. With years of experience as a National Advertising Account Executive at NBC Universal, Chris knows how to connect with people and create lasting experiences.
Now he’s pouring that passion into Sip Social Fort Lauderdale, his mobile bar business that brings the celebration to you. From weddings in Davie and golf tournaments in Hallandale Beach to corporate events in Fort Lauderdale, marathons in Downtown Miami, and fashion launches in the Miami Design District, Chris brings the bar and the energy wherever it’s needed. He’s partnered with major names like LIV Golf, Shell Bay Yacht Club, AMIRI, DAOU Wine, Free People Movement, Brinkley RV, and the Miami Marathon, and he’s just as excited to make your backyard bash unforgettable.
When he’s not serving signature cocktails or planning the next big event, Chris is with his wife, Frances, cheering on their twin teenage boys on the baseball field.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
For indoor setups, all we require is a door opening of at least 5 feet wide and access to a standard 120V outlet. If you’re hosting a party in an outdoor location with no power, we can bring a quiet generator for an additional charge.
Yes! Once you’ve secured Sip for your event, we require you to sign a contract and provide a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event. If your event is within 45 days, we require the full amount when booking.
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own bartender, or you can take advantage of our complete package, which includes one or more certified bartenders.
Our Fort Lauderdale tap trucks feature 7 taps that can pour virtually any drink you want, including custom signature cocktails, prosecco, draft beer, wine, or non-alcoholic beverages like mocktails, juices, and sodas.
Please note state laws prevent us from supplying the alcohol. That means you, the venue, or your caterer must supply the alcohol. When you book our mobile carts for your event, we can provide you with our supplier’s contact information so you can buy drinks at wholesale prices and arrange delivery right to your event!
Determining how much alcohol you need for your event can be challenging! Luckily, we have a drink calculator to help you plan and estimate the beverages needed for your event. Our calculator takes into account various event details, including:
- The number of guests attending your event
- How much your guests typically drink
- The type of beverages each guest will drink
- How many hours you'll be serving and more!
There is no need to worry about tipping separately, as a 20% gratuity is added onto each package price.
Each certified bartender has the appropriate certification to serve alcohol in Florida. Additionally, we carry general liability insurance.
